Culture @KhadiVadi

For Khadivadi, the four marketing Ps are clear and unwavering: People, People, People, and People.

We are a labour‑intensive community rooted deeply in the traditions of Khadi and Handloom, and our greatest asset is our people. The respect we hold for our workforce is reflected in everything we do.

Khadivadi means the advocate of Khadi. To us, Khadi is not merely a fabric—it is a philosophy and a lifestyle, inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. Those who truly follow Gandhi’s principles naturally hold the highest place in our merit system. He believed in the sanctity of “bread earned through blood labour,” and by that belief, anyone who earns an honest livelihood—whether or not they wear our cloth—is a Khadivadi at heart.

Our recruitment process aligns with our values. We welcome individuals committed to a disciplined and conscious lifestyle—those who have left or intend to leave behind meat, wine, and all forms of addiction.

We follow a humane and mindful work structure of 5 working hours, along with 1 hour for lunch.

At Khadivadi, we do not call our team members labourers.

They are artisans—creators of art, not just workers. Our aim is to nurture entrepreneurship, intellectual growth, and craftsmanship. Today, we proudly support a family of 63+ artisans, and we are actively seeking to grow this community further.
